Training
Our first training session in 2010 will be held at 5.45pm sharp on Tuesday, 5 January…at the Whitten Oval!

Through the club’s affiliation with Victoria University, we have been able to secure access to Whitten Oval for approximately 8 training sessions over the course the preseason.

Access to grounds over the preseason has been a major issue for all football clubs, and being able to secure a fertile training ground will no doubt enable us to get a head start on all clubs in 2010.

Whilst we recognise that this is an early return to preseason training, we do encourage you to come down on these Whitten Oval sessions as they have become difficult to access and certainly something we want to fully utilise when offered the opportunity.

In January, the following training sessions will be held at the Whitten Oval;
> Tuesday, 5 January**
> Tuesday, 12 January
> Tuesday, 19 Janaury

More details will follow regarding the remaining preseason training sessions in January and access during to Whitten Oval in February and March.


Club 18s
The Club would also like to inform all player (past and present) and supporters that it is our intention to field a Club 18 side in season 2010.

For a number of years now, the club has had sufficient numbers during the preseason training program to warrant serious consideration as to whether we should (or can) field a Club 18 side.

Historically, we have been a little conservative in our approach however, we have made the decision that we are going to give it a fair dinkum crack!

So what does that mean? It means that we’re putting the call out to anyone and everyone who is serious about playing a more social game of football! Come down to training at one of the Whitten Oval training nights!

Also, we would love to accommodate anyone willing to help out on the off-field side of the game. Any support is appreciated!
